Carry On Bag Essentials from Amazon

I’m a big believer in traveling with a carry on only. Well a backpack carry on and a luggage carry on. So two bags, but I can go for 2-3 weeks in my carry on luggage. My backpack and go to bag when traveling is full of useful, multipurpose and efficient necessities.

Carry on Size Backpack

Backpacks with several pockets are key to staying organized and getting all you can in your carry on. I opt for 40 liter backpacks with multiple pockets and places to attach things like jackets or blankets for long plane ride. This backpack is multi-compartment design includes one main zipped compartment, one zipped front pockets and two side pockets. One separator and one small zippered pocket in the main compartment are convenient enough to help you further organize things.Large capacity helps you easily organize all your essential items.

Besides just for toiletries, these clear plastic storage bags are great for electronics, snacks, kids plane essentials, office supplies on the go and more. Having them all clear makes it quick and easy to find things when traveling.

Large Water Bottle

One of the many reasons I love hydro flask is that I’ve had the same one for 7 years. So it’s paid for itself and then some. I highly suggest opting for a large capacity water bottle when traveling. It may be a bit more awkward to carry around, but trust me you’ll want sacrifice that for water when needed. Airports water fountains can be hard to find, buying water at the airport is robbery and once on the plane you don’t want to bother constantly ask for something … so take an EMPTY large water bottle through TSA fill it up – maybe just once for your whole trip.

Solar Portable Charger

Traveling and charging electronics has become so much easier with portable chargers. They range from wights to how much they can charge. I fell in love with this solar powered one after my big expensive one didn’t want to hold charge on a long trip. This was so easy to recharge in any sunlight – even sticking it in the window on the plane works. But mostly when out exploring a new city its nice to have this charge itself while sipping a coffee .. its also extremely light weight compared to large capacity ones I’ve had.

One of the most versatile accessories I cannot travel without. Great to roll up and use as a pillow on long plane ride, use as a blanket, scarf in cold weather, beach towel and so much more. They are super light weight, easy to roll up and attached to your carry on backpack.
